Selous Game Reserve Safari

The Selous Game Reserve, another UNESCO world heritage site is the largest protected area on our planet, covering an area of around 50,000 sq. km. Its size is stunningly bigger than Switzerland or Denmark, uninhabited and little touched by human interference. Visitors can find themselves in a pristine wilderness, far away from the trodden tourist routes.

Details

Pickup up from Dar es Salaam International Airport and transfer to city center. 
(Dar/Selous) –300 km 5-6 hours After breakfast, Flight from Dar to Selous (Mtemere Airstrip) or drive by car to Selous (5-6 Hours). Lunch at the campsite. Afternoon boat safari on the Rufiji River. At the river you will see crocodiles, hippos and various birds in large roam across the area. Dinner and overnight at Selous River Camp or Selous Wild Camp, which is 6 km from the entrance Gate.
After breakfast collect packed lunches and have a full day game drive in Selous Game Reserve. Picnic lunch at the bush. Late evening drive back to the campsite for dinner and overnight at Selous River Camp or Selous Wild Camp.
After breakfast, enjoy another full day of game viewing and walking safari near Lake Tagalala (if the road is passable). Picnic lunch to be served near the Hot Springs. Late evening drive back to the campsite for dinner and overnight at Selous Wild Camp.
After an early breakfast, short game drives in the morning and then drive to the airstrip and catch the flight to Dar or drive to Dar
